TEMPORARY RENTAL CONDITIONS

  Apartments registered with the Government of Catalonia as Tourist Apartments.This lodging is rented according to Spanish law (L.A.U.) and a specific contract.

RENTAL PERIOD

Temporary renting of the apartment is considered a different use than that of living in it; to this effect the person who rents the apartment declares that their own home is the one that is recorded among the information upon making the reservation.

Therefore, except in the case of mutual agreement on both parts, it will not be aloud to stay in the apartment longer than agreed.

The apartment will only be rented for the understood period between:

Contracted day of arrival: entry from 14:30h to no limits

Contracted day of departure: departure before 10:30

USE AND CONDUCT

Under no circumstances are flammable materials, explosives, or corrosives allowed in the apartment. It is prohibited to develop any type of industry or business from the apartment.

Immoral or unusual conduct that can disturb the other neighbors of the building will not be tolerated.  From 22:00h we ask you try not to make noise or have the TV or music too loud.

 Scandalous behavior or having more people stay in the apartment than declared is cause for immediate expulsion without the right to any refund, including the deposit as a penalty.
 

PRICE OF STAY

The price of the contracted stay is paid in two payments:
The first payment consists of 30% of the total and should be paid at the moment of making the  reservation   by a bank transfer.  Any charges that could be applied by the bank are not deductible from the cost of the stay.
The second and last payment of the remaining 70% will be paid in cash upon entrance to the apartment; a corresponding receipt will be given by the person doing the check in along with the keys to the apartment.

For stays of 15 days or more, the first payment will be 50% of the total and should be paid at the moment of making the reservation by bank transfer, and the second and last payment of the remaining 50% will be paid in cash upon entrance to the apartment.

In the case of wanting a cleaning service during your stay it should be indicated prior to or on the same day of arrival.  This service will be charged separately. 

SECURITY DEPOSIT

The imprint of the credit card will be taken as a deposit, or 200 euros that will be collected at  the moment of arrival and will  be refunded on day of departure once keys are returned and seeing that there has been no damage.

Damage, lost keys, or objects should be reported at the moment the keys are returned.

CANCELLATIONS

The first payment of the reservation will only be refunded if the cancellation takes place 30 days prior to the anticipated date of arrival; after which there will be no refunds.
If there is not a cancellation but a change of dates within less than 30 days notice it will be considered a new reservation and a new first payment should be made in the case that the apartment is available during the newly selected dates.
In the case that the number of nights reserved or people staying is reduced, the corresponding refund will depend on a 30 day notice, the same as cancellations and changes.

For whatever reason you leave the apartment prior to the contracted date there will be no refunds.
 

 The apartments are located in a safe area although, just like any big city, there are plenty of pick pocketers lurking in tourist areas, therefore it is important to take normal precautions when traveling.

Although you might find the buildings old, all of the apartments have been recently renovated, and therefore you will find them in perfect condition.

Confirming a reservation means that you have read and accept these conditions in order to rent and stay in the apartment.
